UNISON has been involved in the design of the new Fiat Van Conversions that NWAS is due to take delivery of fairly soon. Although it is still in the early stages, the vehicle is starting to take shape and we hope to have some photos of it on our website in due course.
UNISON views the introduction of the van conversions as a backwards step but accepts that some areas of the North West are not suitable for the Mercedes ambulances that we currently have and that some sites are uanable to accommodate the Mercs due to their size.
