Replacement response bag to begin trials

rbag3After a period of consultation between trade union representatives and management, a new response bag is to begin trials shortly on selected sites across the service. This bag has been designed and selected with the full involvement of the recognised trade unions, unlike the current one which was brought out without any consultation whatsoever. If trials prove successful, the new bags will replace the one currently in use which has been unpopular due to its bulkiness and weight.

UNISON are hopeful staff will find that the bag is an improvement on the last, and our representatives have fed back a number of comments from members received during the consultation period. The bag will not be rolled out across the trust until both unions and management are confident it is safe and suitable for purpose.
