Workforce Redesign: The Full Ballot Results

After a count which took place today (27.11.2009), undertaken by representatives from both management and the joint trade unions, we can now announce the result of the recent Workforce Redesign proposal ballot.

The results are as follows:

  • 1783 ballot papers were returned
  • 1066 voted to reject the proposals
  • 696 voted to accept the proposals
  • 21 ballot papers were spoilt

This means in percentage terms that 60% voted NO, 39% voted YES and 1% spoilt their ballot papers.

A meeting will take place next week between senior management and trade union officials to discuss the result and the way forward.

If you have any questions regarding this result, please contact your representative via our reps page or join the debate on our online forum at http://forum.nwasunison.com.
